“Beautiful Life” started in 2020 and finished in April 2022 is a mixed media painting combining acrylic and collage on stretched canvas.
I enjoyed playing with a lot of textures and “layers” in this one – just how I would do in my digital painting – symbolizing how things can be hidden at first sight, but wonderful surprises can be found with having the patience to look beyond the surface.
“Beautiful Life” – the celebration of diversity of thought, and contemplation of night time as a moment of rest, gestation, rich rejuvenation, mysteriousness, and breeding ground for dreams and quiet introspection.
