As she states on her website (http://kimberleyakrigg.com), Kim Akrigg is a photographer from Vancouver BC. She picked up a camera in 2007 and hasn’t been able to put it down since. She aims to find the unusual in the usual, searches out the beautiful in the everyday, and wants to make you look at things in a different way.
I stumbled upon the works of Kim Akrigg on DeviantArt and ever since than i carry the magnificent feeling they left in my heart like a fingerprint on a glass.
I wish i could say something brilliant and intelligent about her, about the techniques and the wonderful sceneries and stories she offers to the world, but i don’t know… i simply feel that any words would be too much and maybe they would spoil the mystery. …Because yes, i do feel a taste of mystery in her photographs, right next to the sensuality of the colours and the power of the expressions.
